The Sequim Irrigation Festival is the longest running festival in the state of Washington. 2024 marks the event’s 129th year! This year’s festival theme is “Mountains to Shore, Whatever You’re Looking For” and will run from May 3 – 12, but the build up to the festival starts months ahead of time. March 23 marked the unveiling of the float, together with a fundraising dinner and auction at 7 Cedars Casino Hotel.
Princess Ashlynn Northaven, Princess Kailah Blake, Princess Sophia Treece, and Queen Ariya Gattling.

As the float prepares to leave, a little bit of last minute clowning around. I wonder if they’d let me drive it next year…

Registration check-in with a pirate – shiver me timbers! (She told me it took her about 3 hours to get into costume, most of that spent braiding her hair.)
Silent auction items awaiting the end of dinner and the start of the auction.
I was working that night, but managed to dash through the dinner and snap a few (admittedly not terribly good) photos
